Gold items are normally dispatched within 3-4 weeks, although we do hold some gold rings in stock which may be sent sooner.

If there are any delays, we will contact you by email.

Ring Size Alteration.

If a ring from an order you have received requires to be adjusted or exchanged to a different finger size, this will be done free of charge apart from return postage costs.

🇺🇸 Terms & Conditions for US Customers

Ordering from the USA
We’re delighted to send Shetland Jewellery to our customers across the Atlantic! All orders are shipped safely from our workshop in Shetland, Scotland. Please note that all prices on our website are shown in GBP (£), and payments will be processed in this currency.

Customs Duties, Taxes & Tariffs
When you place an order for delivery to the United States, your parcel may be subject to import duties, taxes, or tariffs imposed by US Customs and Border Protection.
These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs and are the responsibility of the customer.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these fees or the time it may take for your parcel to clear customs. Charges will vary depending on the value of your order and local import regulations.

Payment of Duties
If any import charges are due, your chosen courier (for example, DHL or Royal Mail/USPS) will contact you directly before or after delivery to arrange payment.
Failure to pay customs fees may result in your parcel being held, returned, or destroyed by US Customs.
Shetland Jewellery cannot accept responsibility for any delays or losses caused by non-payment of import duties.

Refused or Unclaimed Parcels
If a parcel is refused at delivery or returned to us due to unpaid customs duties, the customer will be responsible for any return shipping fees or charges applied by the courier.
These costs will be deducted from the total amount refunded once the parcel safely returns to us.
Shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

Delivery Times

Shipping times to the USA are usually between 7–14 working days, but may vary depending on customs processing.

Returns from the USA
Customers returning items from outside the UK are responsible for any return shipping costs and must clearly mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional import charges.
