Delivery & Returns

All our jewellery is sent by Royal Mail.

UK Delivery.

Orders under £100.00 in value are sent by “signed for” first class recorded delivery mail – cost £7.00. Orders over £100.00 in value are sent by special delivery mail – cost £9.00.

Click and Collect.

This service is available to customers in Shetland. Orders can be collected from our workshop in Weisdale or our retail shop – J G Rae, Ltd- in Lerwick. There is no charge for this service.

Deliveries outside the UK.

Standard charge for “signed for” insured mail - £24.00.

Delivery Times.

Very often silver items are available from stock and will be sent the same day we receive the order. Delivery of out of stock items and silver rings made up to special sizes should be dispatched within 14 days unless busy periods this will take longer.  Delivery of gold items is normally within 3 weeks. We do, however, keep stock of some gold rings, and they are often sent earlier. You will be advised by e-mail of any delivery delays. We can often push through urgent orders if requested.

Returns Policy.

Any item can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery.

Ring Size Alteration.

If a ring from an order you have received requires to be adjusted or exchanged to a different finger size, this will be done free of charge apart from return postage costs.
