The Jewellery Tour of Shetland
For years, our jewellery has been deeply inspired by the beauty of Shetland. Since launching our enamelled collection in 2012, we’ve been creating miniature pieces of wearable art that capture the colours and landscapes of the islands. Each design is made to evoke nostalgic memories of special places and meaningful moments.
Every piece is individually hand-enamelled, making it not only fully customisable, but also entirely unique. The inspiration for the collection began with the Northern Lights, or, as they are affectionately known in Shetland, the Mirrie Dancers. This remains our most popular colourway to this day.
The Northern Lights hold a special meaning for many people. They can represent memories of loved ones, the wonder of real magic, treasured moments spent watching them dance across the sky, or simply the dream of seeing them one day. It’s easy to understand why this colourway continues to resonate so deeply.
Over the years, we’ve expanded the collection to include our Shetland Skies colourways, inspired by the ever-changing beauty of Shetland’s skies, from glowing sunsets and stormy, dramatic horizons to clear blue days. Each piece reflects a different mood and moment from island life.

Whether you’re a Shetlander or someone who has visited the islands, you’ll know that Shetland is filled with unforgettable views: looking out across a beach, gazing towards the open sea, standing beneath the cliffs of Eshaness, or wandering along picturesque Commercial Street. Our Shetland Skies collection captures these scenes beautifully, allowing you to carry a little piece of Shetland with you wherever you go.
Our love of the islands extends beyond colour alone. Over the years, we have created a collection of jewellery celebrating some of Shetland’s most iconic places and landmarks. From the dramatic sea stacks of the Drongs at Eshaness and the rugged beauty of Foula to the peaceful shores of Fair Isle, the wonderful Busta House hotel and the historic silhouette of Scalloway Castle, each design tells a story of place and belonging.

Other pieces pay tribute to the islands and locations that hold special meaning for locals and visitors alike, including Bressay, Clousta, Cullivoe, Fladdabister, the striking Red Pool, and the breathtaking sands of St Ninian’s Isle. We have captured the charm of Lerwick’s Commercial Street, the ancient wonder of Mousa Broch, and even the symbolic Heart of Shetland, creating keepsakes that celebrate the landscapes, history and communities that make these islands so unique.
Together, these collections form a jewellery tour of Shetland, each piece a reminder of a favourite view, a cherished memory, a family connection, or a place that stole your heart. Whether you call Shetland home or simply dream of returning one day, our jewellery allows you to keep a little piece of the islands with you wherever life takes you.
