Hi, I am Bronwyn and I have been working at Shetland jewellery for 3 years now and I thought I’d share a little about me…
My favourite place in Shetland;
I have always lived here in Shetland, I enjoy everything about Shetland and everything that comes along with it! In fact one of my favourite things to do is sit on Peerie Spiggie beach and breathe in the sea air and watch the sunset, it’s just stunning and I HIGHLY recommend! There is just something about it that’s like its own little therapy and lucky for me, it’s just a short walk along the road!
My favourite piece of jewellery;
Öyger, a piece inspired by the rough seas and the beautiful landscape is something that ,for me, takes me back to that happy little therapeutic time I spend watching the sunset set over Foula and is why it’s one of my favourite pieces!
A fun fact about me;
Fun fact…when I was just a Peerie toot, my siblings and I would joke that Foula kind of looked a bit like a fat man lying in the sea….oh to be a child again…
My favourite part of the job;
My favourite part of working at Shetland jewellery would probably be the love and support you get from everyone there, we always joke about being Peerie cheerleaders for each other while we create something, learn a new skill or even just try something new but it’s a very true and very wonderful fact. I would say I am super lucky to be apart of a team of lasses that are so super happy that you are you!
